The EAGLE Team is working on “How do people perceive ionizing radiation?”

Date: 2014-10-05

This is a basic question for researchers to answer in order to help provide relevant, complete and trustworthy communication strategies on various applications of ionizing radiation.

EAGLE is using the mental model approach developed at Carnegie Mellon University. It structures investigation in four EAGLE countries of the ways citizens and specialists understand the sources and effects of ionizing radiation as well as connected risks.

Country-based and comparative data about these mental models related to ionising radiation will be available by end of 2014 and the report will be posted at the EAGLE website.
